KAUSTUBH V. PATANKAR, M.D., FACC

Cardiologist & Medical Director, CSMG

Dr. Patankar has been in private practice in Riverside for over 20 years. After completion of his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, he trained in Interventional Cardiology at the prestigious Galichia Institute in Wichita, Kansas. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, He treats all types of cardiovascular conditions and specializes in pacemakers, complex coronary and peripheral interventions. Dr. Patankar serves on various hospital and medical boards and is committed to improving medical care in the community.

NADER NASHAAT ATTIA, D.O.

Cardiologist, Chair of the Department of Cardiology at Inland Valley Hospital and Rancho Springs Medical Center. Associate Clinical Professor for Western-COM.

Dr. Attia obtained his medical degree from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Garden City Hospital, an affiliate of Michigan State University, and his General Cardiology fellowship at McLaren Macomb Hospital. Dr. Attia is trained to perform various cardiovascular procedures including but not limited to cardiac catheterization and transesophageal echocardiography. Dr. Attia is board certified in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Nuclear Cardiology.

JEREMY, COX, DO

Cardiologist, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, UC Riverside

Dr. Cox completed medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, CA and is returning to the area after completing Internal Medicine and General Cardiology training to be near family and friends. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Toxicology from The University of Louisiana at Monroe. He completed his Internal Medicine training at West Palm Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida, an affiliate of Nova Southeastern School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his General Cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ, an affiliate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Cox is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Ultrasound interpretation. His interests include Cardiac Imaging as well as the diagnosis and treatment of valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, and congestive heart failure. He is trained to perform transesophageal echocardiography, cardioversion, and some diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures.

BRADLEY S MESSENGER, MD

Electrophysiologist

Dr. Messenger received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Los Angeles. He then went on to further his education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. After completing his Medical School he went to UCLA to complete his Internal Medicine residency, as well as his Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowships. During this time he has completed and published several pieces of research. Dr. Messenger aims to provide the most extensive care to his patients.

CHRISTOPHER SEAMAN, MD.

Cardiologist. Interventional Cardiology, and Echocardiology

Dr. Seaman attended medical school at New York Medical College. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Davis. He pursued his fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Hahnemann University Hospital/Drexel University and NYU/Winthrop Hospital. Dr Seaman is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology with additional certifications in echocardiology and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Seaman offers services in both general and interventional cardiology, including minimally invasive cardiac catheterizations and percutaneous interventions. Dr. Seaman works to include patients and their families in all steps of decision making.

MIMI SEN BISWAS, M.D., MHSC

Cardiologist & Director, CSMG Women’s Heart Clinic

Dr. Biswas completed her B.S. at the California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech), received her MD from the UCLA School of Medicine, and completed her residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. At Duke University Medical Center, she completed her Cardiology Fellowship, a fellowship in Women’s Health, obtained a Master’s in Health Science, and is still involved in clinical research. While on the faculty at Duke, she founded and was the Clinical Director of the Duke Women’s Heart Care Clinic. In addition to being board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology, she is trained in cardiac CT imaging. She specializes in cardiovascular imaging, prevention, and women’s cardiovascular care. Dr. Biswas is dedicated to developing a center for Women’s Heart Health in the Inland Empire, and to raising awareness about women and heart disease.

NIRAJ V. PAREKH, M.D

Cardiologist, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, and Vascular Study Interpretation

After his Internal Medicine residency at UC San Diego, Dr. Parekh completed his General and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Loyola University in Chicago. He specializes in percutaneous interventions of the coronary arteries as well as non-surgical techniques to repair structural heart diseases. His expertise in vascular disease also allows him to treat peripheral arterial/venous disease including non-healing ulcers and wounds of the lower extremities, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and stenosis of the carotid vessels. He is committed to treating cardiovascular disease with minimally invasive procedures that allow faster recovery and improve patient care.

JATIN N AMIN, MD, FACC

Cardiologist, Echocardiography, & Nuclear Cardiology

Dr. Jatin Amin started his education at the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago. He completed his Medical Degree at Loyola University Stritch, School of Medicine. While pursuing academic research and filling a faculty position as a clinical Instructor at Loyola University Emergency Room, he completed his Internal Medicine residency. Dr. Amin continued his Cardiology training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Since then, he conducted other Academic research, with a focus on cardiac conduction and timing for heart contraction and relaxation. He presented several conclusions at the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.

SANDEEP SANGODKAR, DO. FACC

Cardiologist. Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCR & Western University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Sangodkar received his Bachelor of Science in physiology and neuroscience at UC San Diego. He obtained a Masters of Science in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University in Washington, DC before completing medical school at Western University. He received his Internal Medicine training at the University of Chicago (Northshore) and was appointed Chief Resident. He completed his Cardiology fellowship at the University of New Mexico. During his fellowship, he authored several presentations at the American College of Cardiology annual meetings and also the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions in addition to serving as Chief Fellow. Dr. Sangodkar has a strong interest in non-invasive cardiac imaging and a passion for preventive care and cardiovascular wellness.
